Dr Boyne Bellew is a highly experienced Consultant Anaesthetist at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust, with a strong focus on advanced pain management, sedation, and airway management. He also holds the position of Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at Imperial College, London where he contributes to the training of future anaesthetists.
Dr Bellew's qualified as a doctor in South Africa and subsequently pursued training in anaesthesia and pain management through fellowships in Australia and the UK. He completed the Regional Anaesthesia Fellowship in Australia, specialising in advanced pain management, followed by an Advanced Airway and Obstetric Fellowship in the UK. These prestigious training opportunities have equipped him with a wealth of expertise in clinical anaesthesia.
Having worked across South Africa, Australia, and the UK, Dr Bellew has developed a nuanced understanding of the diverse healthcare systems and the challenges they face. His international experience has provided him with invaluable insights into managing patient care in a complex, fast-evolving healthcare landscape.
