Dr Narvekar completed her undergraduate training (BDS) in India in 2009. Unnati relocated to the UK in 2010 and, following the successful completion of her licensing exams (ORE), she was selected for dental foundation training roles in General Dentistry (London) and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (Lancashire). Pursuing her interest in restorative dentistry, she completed the MSc in Conservative Dentistry at the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute (UCL, London) in 2014.
During her time at the Eastman, she was offered the role of Clinical Teaching Fellow in the Department of Prosthodontics which she undertook from 2015 to 2017, supervising the training and research interests of MSc students. She decided to further her training in the field of Prosthodontics and successfully completed her MClinDent at the Eastman Dental Institute in 2021, achieving the Postgraduate Prize for Excellence in Clinical and Academic Achievement during her training. Subsequently, she gained entrance to the General Dental Council’s Specialist Register in Prosthodontics and is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons, England. Her research work has been published in multiple international dental journals.
Unnati is available for consultation at The Village Dental Health Centre, Gerrards Cross from January 2023 and is happy to accept referrals for full mouth rehabilitation, tooth surface loss/tooth wear management, composite bonding, cosmetic smile enhancement, crown & bridgework, dentures, veneers, onlays, occlusal splints and implant rehabilitation.
In her spare time, she enjoys travelling with her husband and spending time with family. She is an Indian classical music enthusiast and enjoys learning about world history, architecture and design.
